The cockpit is the part of a van you use every single day, and it's usually the last part anybody plans. Suction cups fall off in the heat, vent clips block your climate controls, and adhesive pads leave a mark on a $60,000 dash. Everything in this collection is a purpose-engineered, no-drill mount from TERRA X — designed, machined and assembled in the USA specifically for the Mercedes Sprinter VS30 (2019+) and the Ford Transit, including the Transit with the 12" display. That means the NAVIDOK Overlander and Overlander X dash mounts, the VISORDOK and VISORDOK TubeTrak visor systems, the CUPDOK console bracket, the Charge Groove cable organizer, and the mounting plates that let you add Switch-Pros, WOLFBOX dash cams, or a Starlink terminal to what you've already got. Everything uses standard 1" tube clamps, RAM® ball mounts, or T-slot track hardware, so you can build the dash you want and change it later.

How to Choose a Dash Mount

1. Start with where you want your eyes to go

Three mounting zones, three different mounts:

  • Visor line (highest, closest to the road): VISORDOK. Puts the screen in your line of sight so your eyes barely leave the road. Sprinter version is the TubeTrak ($219, VS30 and NCV3 options), an aluminum extrusion combining a 1" tube with an integrated T-slot track, using the space between the sun visors. Transit version ($219) uses the factory sun visor clips. Sun visors keep working normally on both.
  • Dash top (center of the cockpit): NAVIDOK. The Sprinter Overlander ($209.99) is a 20" x 4" x 3" no-drill platform; the Overlander X ($459) adds an upper dash plate for a much bigger mounting surface. The Transit NAVIDOK ($259) is the first mount engineered specifically for Transits with the 12" display and uses a compression mounting system.
  • Console (lowest, easiest to reach): CUPDOK ($250), a machined aluminum bracket that installs over the existing Sprinter cup holder console (2019+) and turns it into a device platform without giving up the cup holders. Made in the USA from aluminum and nylon, drill-free, and it leaves factory cup holder function fully intact — worth pairing with the console upgrades on our Sprinter parts page.

2. Confirm the fitment detail nobody reads

These are precision fits, and the notes matter:

  • NAVIDOK Overlander / Overlander X: 2019+ Sprinter only, including Winnebago Revel, Storyteller Overland, Jayco Terrain, and Tiffin. Revel owners must select the "Modified Dash" option — the Revel dash needs a different upper mounting bracket.
  • VISORDOK Tube for Transit: your Transit must have the factory upper headliner with the shelf. No shelf, no fit.
  • VISORDOK: works with or without a rearview mirror, but a device mounted in front of the mirror will block it. Plan device placement accordingly.
  • Transit NAVIDOK: exclusively for Transits with the 12" display.
  • Charge Groove: two versions, and the choice is not determined by year or model. The regular fits dashes with air vents on each side of the compartment; the XL fits dashes without them. Look at your dash before ordering.

3. Buy into a mounting ecosystem, not a single-device holder

Every TERRA X mount is built around open standards — RAM® Mount balls, 1" tube clamps, T-bolt track balls (RAM Track Ball, 67 Designs Series 20). That's the whole point: your phone holder, your Garmin Tread, your tablet, your two-way radio, and your dash cam can all live on the same rail, and next year's phone doesn't obsolete your mount. The Overlander X's mounting plate accepts hardware in every direction, and the X Plate ($98) adds a powder-coated aluminum surface specifically for the awkward items — radios, charging hubs, control heads.

4. Add the accessory plates you'll want anyway

  • Switch-Pros mounting plates for the NAVIDOK and for VISORDOK tube or track ($74.99 each) — the correct way to mount an SP-9100 keypad where your hand actually goes
  • WOLFBOX VISORDOK Tube Mounting Kit ($95) and a Sprinter WOLFBOX rear camera mount ($29.99) for mirror dash cam builds
  • NAVILIGHT / NAVILIGHT PRO ($35–$79.99) — a housing for the Olight Oclip with a red-light option that preserves night vision, magnetic backing, and 1" B-size RAM ball compatibility
  • Charge Groove ($98–$128) — holds open the Sprinter dash compartment that houses your charging ports, in SLS-printed Nylon 12, so cables route cleanly instead of pinching a lid
  • Starlink Performance (Gen 2) Flat Mounting Kit ($85) and a WeBoost mount ($25) for the connectivity side of the cockpit — both mount up top, so coordinate with your roof rack and crossbar layout

5. Materials tell you how it'll age

Sun-baked dashes destroy cheap plastic. What we carry: machined aluminum and Nylon 12 (CUPDOK), aluminum extrusion (TubeTrak), powder-coated aluminum with all-stainless hardware (Overlander X, X Plate), SLS-printed Nylon 12 (Charge Groove, NAVILIGHT). Nylon 12 is the right choice for a dash part — it's dimensionally stable at temperature and won't get brittle the way ABS does after three summers.

6. Already own an Overlander?

Don't rebuy. The NAVIDOK Overlander to Overlander X Upgrade Kit ($249.99) adds the dash plate and upper mounting to the lower mount you already have. Same Factory Dash / Modified Dash (Revel) fitment choice applies.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do these mounts require drilling into my dash? No. That's the design brief for the entire line. The NAVIDOK Overlander and Overlander X attach to the Sprinter dash with no drilling or modification; the Transit NAVIDOK uses a compression mounting system; the VISORDOK replaces or uses the factory sun visor clips; the CUPDOK installs over the existing console cup holder with no permanent modification and leaves cup holder function intact.

Will a dash or visor mount block my airbag, mirror, or controls? The NAVIDOK Overlander X is designed to integrate without obstructing your view of the road or interfering with dashboard controls. On the VISORDOK, your mirror will be blocked only if you mount a device in front of it — mount to one side. As always, use judgment about where you place a large tablet, and never mount anything over an airbag deployment path.

Can I mount a Garmin Tread, an iPad, and a radio at the same time? Yes. That's the argument for track-based mounts. The TubeTrak's integrated T-slot supports standard 1" tube clamps, RAM Track Balls with T-bolts, and 67 Designs Series 20 track balls simultaneously. The Transit NAVIDOK ships with dual RAM ball mounts plus an integrated T-slot track. For heavier accessories like a radio head or a charge hub, add the X Plate.

What's the difference between the NAVIDOK Overlander and the Overlander X? The Overlander ($209.99) is the lower dash mount — a 20" x 4" x 3" no-drill platform with track and ball mounting. The Overlander X ($459) adds a full upper dash plate for substantially more mounting surface, in powder-coated aluminum with stainless hardware. If you're running one phone and a GPS, the Overlander is enough. If you're building an overland cockpit with radios, switch panels, and multiple screens, buy the X — or upgrade later with the $249.99 kit.

Does the VISORDOK work on any Ford Transit? No. Your Transit must have the factory upper headliner with the shelf for the Transit VISORDOK Tube to mount. If you have the plain headliner, look at the Transit NAVIDOK instead — with the caveat that it's engineered for Transits with the 12" display.

Which Charge Groove do I need? Look at your dash, not your VIN. The regular Charge Groove fits Sprinter dashes that have air vents on each side of the charging port compartment; the XL fits dashes without those vents. It's not determined by year or model, and it's the single most common thing people get wrong on this collection. If you're unsure, send us a photo.
