The hardest problem in a 144" or 148" van is sleeping across it: the body is a few inches too narrow for most adults. A pocket sleeper (also called an innie sleeper) solves it by recessing a moulded pocket into the wall cavity, buying back the shoulder and foot room a crosswise bed needs - without cutting a flare into the outside of the van.

Sold as single sides or as a pair, driver and passenger. Pairs are the usual choice for a fixed bed; a single side works if one end of the bed already clears a wheel arch or cabinet.

Bunk window trim rings with storage cubbies do the same trick vertically: the ring around a 10x33 bunk window also forms a shelf for a phone, a headlamp and a water bottle, right where you need them lying down. The Transit bulkhead piece finishes the cab divider on the same wall.
