Sized for the 3310 awning opening in a ProMaster — check that number against your window before you order anything.
The 3310 in the name is the window size, and it is the thing to verify first. Awning windows are sold by nominal opening dimensions, and a ring cut for a 3310 will not close the gap neatly around a different size. Confirm the size stamped on your window or quoted on your invoice, then order.
Once you have the right size, this does what all our trim rings do: closes the cavity between the glass flange and your finished wall in a single molded piece, with a depth you cut to suit your build.

Two ways to install it, and which one we use
Same two-method choice as the rest of the range, with the awning caveat: dry-fit and cycle the window before you fix the ring, because the opening arm needs the clearance more than the glass does.
On a ProMaster, add a backing block behind the ring if your wall panel is bridging a rib void at the opening. A trim ring screwed into unsupported panel will flex and eventually crack its finish.

- Dry-fit, cycle the window fully, then fix.
- Backing block behind the flange if the panel is unsupported there.
- Cut to the shallowest of four wall-depth measurements.
Questions we get asked about this part
Can I shorten the ring?
Yes, and most builders do. The rings are supplied deep so you can trim them down to the exact wall thickness you have actually built. Cut them on a table saw with a fine-tooth blade or a track saw against a straight edge, take a test slice first, and measure your finished wall from the glass flange to the face of your panel before you cut anything.
Screwed or glued?
Both work and they give different results. Self-tapping screws from outside through the ring into the wall panel is the fast method and is fully reversible — good if the panel might come off again. Glued or through-bolted from behind hides all fasteners and is what we do on customer vans, but you need to clamp it while the adhesive cures and you only get one shot at the alignment.
Does the ring hold the window in?
No. The glass is bonded to the van body by your window installer or by the window kit. The trim ring is the interior finishing collar that spans the gap between the glass flange and your finished wall, hides the raw metal and the insulation, and protects the panel edge. It is trim, not structure.
What does 3310 mean?
It is the nominal window size designation used by the awning window manufacturers. If your paperwork does not state it, measure the glass opening and send us the numbers — we would rather check than have you receive a ring that does not close the gap.
