A proper bracket for a WeBoost antenna on an 80/20 rack — black powder-coated stainless, with the T-nuts and bolts in the box.
WeBoost antennas ship with mounting options designed for a truck mirror or a flat roof, none of which suit a T-slotted extrusion rack. The usual improvisation is a U-bolt and a bit of flat bar, which works right up until it starts vibrating at highway speed.
This is the purpose-made answer: a black powder-coated stainless bracket, supplied with stainless 80/20 roll-in T-nuts and stainless 5/16-18 bolts, so the antenna mounts solidly and repositions anywhere along the slot.

Working with it
Antenna position matters more than mount quality once the mount is solid. Get the antenna as high as you reasonably can, and keep it away from other antennas, from solar panels and from the interior booster unit — separation between the outside antenna and the inside antenna is what stops a cellular booster from oscillating and shutting itself down.
Route the coax with a drip loop before it enters the van, and never crush or kink it. Coax is unforgiving of sharp bends.
- Maximize the separation between the roof antenna and the interior antenna.
- Keep it clear of solar panels and other antennas.
- Drip loop in the coax before the roof entry gland.
- Do not kink the coax. Minimum bend radius matters more than tidiness.
- Roll-in T-nuts mean you can fit and reposition it without stripping the rack.
Questions we get asked
How do I know if my extrusion is 15 series?
Measure across the flat face of the profile. A 15 series extrusion is 1.5 in wide (or a multiple — 1.5 × 3.0, and so on) and the T-slot takes a 5/16-18 fastener. If your rack came from Unaka, 80/20 Inc., or most van rack makers in North America, it is 15 series.
Does it include the antenna?
No. This is the mounting bracket and its hardware. The WeBoost antenna is sold separately.
Can I fit it to a rack that is already built?
Yes. The included T-nuts are roll-in, so they load anywhere along the slot without needing an open end.
