Cut to the 2014+ ProMaster floor outline — the widest floor of the three big platforms, and the one hand-templating punishes hardest.

The ProMaster is the widest of the mainstream cargo vans, which is exactly why templating its floor by hand is such a miserable job: more area, more perimeter, more places for a hand-cut edge to be a quarter inch off. Having the outline CNC-cut before it arrives removes all of that.

You choose the material — 2TEC2 woven vinyl at 5 mm, or Lonseal sheet vinyl at 2.5 mm — and the wheelbase, and it is cut to the ProMaster floor where it meets the walls and doors.

2TEC2 or Lonseal? Pick before you order

  • Lonseal is more viable on a ProMaster than on the other platforms, because the factory floor is flatter and a well-laid subfloor comes out genuinely level. At 2.5 mm it gives you back head height you would otherwise lose.
  • 2TEC2 if you want the textile look and the acoustic character of a woven surface. Five millimeters, warmer underfoot, more forgiving of a subfloor seam.
  • 159" or 159" EXT. Two cuts, and they are not interchangeable. Confirm yours before checkout.
  • Buy the matching adhesive with it. 2TEC2 and Lonseal use different systems and neither tolerates the other.

Wheelbase and vehicle fitment

Vehicle Ram ProMaster cargo van, 2014 and newer
Wheelbase options 159" and 159" EXT — select in the drop-down
Substrate Adheres to plywood; a smooth, fine finish is recommended
Shipping Free shipping to all lower 48 US states

ProMaster subfloors are commonly built up higher than Sprinter or Transit subfloors because the factory floor is flatter and builders take advantage of it. Whatever you build, the surface the flooring lands on needs to be smooth plywood.

What ships to you

  • One CNC pre-cut floor in your chosen material, color and wheelbase
  • Adhesive not included — must match the material

Laying it: adhesive choice is the whole job

The ProMaster gives you the flattest starting point of the three platforms, so a good result here comes down to patience with the plywood rather than fighting the body. Get the sheets tight, countersink and fill every fastener, sand the joints, and vacuum twice — the second pass always finds sawdust the first missed.

Adhesive is material-specific and unforgiving. 2TEC2 wants DAP All Purpose Adhesive spray grade, DAP Weldwood or P809. Lonseal wants Lonseal two-part epoxy or Lonseal #650. Buy the right one when you buy the floor.

  • Countersink and fill every subfloor fastener. On a flat ProMaster floor, a proud screw head is the only thing that will show.
  • Vacuum twice. Grit under a glued floor is permanent.
  • 2TEC2 adhesive: DAP All Purpose Adhesive spray grade, DAP Weldwood, or P809.
  • Lonseal adhesive: Lonseal two-part epoxy, or Lonseal #650.
  • Dry-lay against the slider and rear apertures before opening adhesive.
  • Roll the entire surface after laying, working from the center outward.

Questions we get asked about this part

What exactly does “pre-cut” mean?

It refers to the perimeter: the outline is cut to match the ProMaster cargo floor where it meets the walls and doors. Holes for your cabinetry, your seat rails or your heater are still yours to cut, on site, once the layout is fixed.

The ProMaster floor is nearly flat. Do I still need plywood?

Yes. Both materials are specified to bond to plywood, and the plywood is also what your furniture fastens into. Gluing sheet vinyl to painted steel is not supported by either manufacturer.

Is it made after I order?

Yes — nothing sits on a shelf pre-cut for a ProMaster. Allow 7–10 business days before it ships if the material is in stock, and we will contact you if the real lead time is longer.

Do I still need edge trim?

Yes. A CNC-cut perimeter is accurate but it is still an exposed edge. A floor trim where the floor meets the wall hides the cut line and, more importantly, stops the edge peeling once feet start catching it.

The ProMaster floor is nearly flat. Do I still need plywood?

Yes. Both materials are specified to bond to plywood, and the plywood is also what gives you something to fasten furniture to. Gluing sheet vinyl directly to painted steel is not what either manufacturer supports.
